With spring a mere few days away, now is the perfect time to start thinking about brightening up your wardrobe and how you can transition some of your winter pieces into spring.
I am absolutely loving how on trend blush is this season, and what a perfect way to brighten up your wardrobe as we transition out of winter. What I like to do as winter draws to a close is take a look into my wardrobe at some of my winter basics. Since it will still be quite cool here for the next few months, I am looking for those key pieces that I can build my spring wardrobe around. Neutral toned knitwear, tops, denim and trousers are the best staples and create a great foundation where you can then incorporate some of those spring trends.
I think it is so easy to get completely caught up in a trend, when in reality, we have no way of knowing how long the trend will last, which leaves me to wonder if it really is the most wise way to spend my money. It is so important to think about price per wear. How much am I really going to wear this item? This is where spending a little bit more on those classic pieces you can wear almost year round would make the most sense, and something I need to do a little more of! One of the nice things about pastels is that they never really seem to go out of style. They continue to come back year after year which makes them a classic addition to your wardrobe.
Some years certain trends do absolutely nothing for me, which is quite possibly why I am loving the the pretty hues of blush and pink. In this case, if you find a trend that seems a bit timeless and really speaks to you, then I see no harm in spending a little more than you typically would on refreshing your wardrobe.
I just found my gorgeous blush moto jacket on sale for 50% off! It comes in a few other colours such as grey and navy blue. I have also linked some similar styles below, from a few other retailers.
My very first YouTube video just went live on my channel! If you are loving the blush trend as much as I am, then you won’t want to miss it!
I hope you have found this post helpful, and that I have given you some ideas on how you can transition your wardrobe into spring! Please feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what trends you are loving for spring!
